Barstow Alarm was originally started in 1967, when current owners Roy and Carrie Watson purchased the company in 1973 with fifty (50) accounts. With humble beginnings, Roy and Carrie have built HI DESERT ALARM into one of the premier intrusion detection providers in the high desert today. Three generation, family owned and operated right here in Victorville, HI DESERT ALARM isn't just an ordinary ‘Run-of-the-Mill’ company in the high desert, HI DESERT ALARM is a part of the community fabric. The high desert is our home, and we take pride in that fact. HI DESERT ALARM has dedicated it’s effort to make the high desert area safer for you, family, business and the community as a whole. There is a good chance you’ve seen one of our little yellow trucks driving around town, or been at a parade when our bright red fire truck passes by. HI DESERT ALARM also belongs to many of the high desert’s finest organizations. HI DESERT ALARM is an active member of the Victorville Chamber of Commerce, Hesperia Chamber of Commerce, Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce, Adelanto Chamber of Commerce, Barstow Chamber of Commerce, High Desert Executive Association and the Kiwanis Club. We take responsibility for our industry, so HI DESERT ALARM is an active member of the California Alarm Association and Inland Empire Alarm Association. HI DESERT ALARM works diligently with the local law enforcement community, and local fire jurisdiction. Having work together for more than four decades, a professional relationship has developed, one that we strive to maintain. HI DESERT ALARM systems are monitored right here locally by people that actually live here in the high desert. Many national dealer monitor stations are scattered all over the United States, thousands of miles away, in remote locations like Texas, Florida, and New York. The next time you think of an intrusion system, fire detection, digital video surveillance, ask yourself, ‘How much do you really know about the other company?’ Then pick up the phone all call someone you trust… THE RELIABLE CHOICE. |

Come see HI DESERT ALARM’s 1923 American La-France chain driven fire truck at many of the local city parades. City of Victorville Christmas, Lucerne Valley 4th of July, Apple Valley Pow Wow Days, Hesperia Days Rodeo, Barstow Halloween Parade, and the City of Adelanto parade. This was a seven (7) year restoration project that started out as a bucket of rust in someone’s field. Arrive early to the parade route, and talk to owner Roy Watson about his gem… he would definitely love to chat you up. |

HI DESERT ALARM cares about our environment, and wanted to reduce the Company’s carbon footprint. So in 2009, HI DESERT ALARM decided to go GREEN, and hired a local energy company to install a bank of solar panels. It’s just one more way HI DESERT ALARM is trying to help balance our planet, and give back to our delicate ECO system. |
